Since joining the Selkirk College Nursing Faculty in 2014 and I have continued to been taken aback by the support and inspiration shared amongst the faculty and students as a whole. It has been a wonderful place to work and witness the students receive an incredible education.
Prior to working within the post-secondary context, I worked in emergency departments within rural Northern BC, larger centers within Vancouver Coastal Health as well as in the Kootenay region. Within the emergency context, I have a passion for meeting client’s and their family's needs which often includes highly stressful and life changing situations. Since graduating from the UBC BScN program, I have completed a specialty-nursing certificate in Emergency and Critical Care from BCIT.
Outside of nursing and house building, my passions include being outdoors and spending quality time with my family and friends.
