Rodney Noskiye is affiliated with the Little Red River Cree Nation band. He grew up in Fox Lake, Alberta (approximately 152 kilometers east of High Level) and moved to Castlegar in 2011.
 

Rodney has recently taken the role as the Indigenous Student Navigator. Rodney completed his first year in the Social Service Worker Program in 2014 which gave him the opportunity to work in the Social Work field as a Family Support Worker in Alberta.

He did his practicum with the Indigenous Services in 2014 and also worked alongside Jessica Morin as a work study student. Rodney has also worked as the Indigenous Services Assistant in 2019.

Rodney enjoys going for hikes and his hobbies include landscape photography and landscape sketching.
