After high school I traveled for several years and worked odd jobs around Europe and South America. While teaching English in Montevideo, Uruguay I took silversmithing classes from a local jeweler. Upon returning back to BC, I enrolled at KSA.
I would highly recommend KSA. It is a great place to start off an artistic career. The teachers are professional and talented artists in themselves. There is a lot of mentorship at the school. Also, the town of Nelson is a very artistic and inspiring community to live in.
I currently work as a full time jeweler out of my studio in Squamish, BC. I strive to continue learning new processes and evolve my designs with the progression of time and experiences.
In the future I would like to move into large-scale metal forging and fabrication. I am considering enrolling in the one-year intensive KSA metal program.
