What is yoga? In the Western world, yoga is seen by many as a form of exercise focusing on flexibility. However, this is only one part of yoga. Yoga is essentially a spiritual discipline based on science, which focuses on bringing harmony between mind, body and eternal spirit. Yoga focuses on moving the practitioner from unreal to real, from darkness to light, and from death to immortality.
In this session, we explore what is yoga, including its history, the different forms, significant Sanskrit words and their meaning, and meditation. Join Rāj to uncover peace, joy and wisdom.

Am I passionate about yoga? Emphatically, YES!
After many years of struggling with depression and anxiety, I found yoga and the instructions for better living. Since I have been practicing yoga daily in all forms, my misery and suffering have decreased substantially, and all the while, my joy has increased exponentially! My karma is to share yoga with anyone that is seeking the truth in the interconnectedness of all things.
