Non-Profit Advisor Series

This series of workshops is designed to help build the knowledge and capacity of non-profit organizations in the Columbia Basin. It is brought to you by Columbia Basin Trust in partnership with Selkirk College.  

Fee

There is a nominal fee of $10 +GST to attend each workshop.  Pre-registration is required as only registered participants will be admitted into the course.

Who should attend? Board members, staff and volunteers of non-profit organizations located within the Columbia Basin Trust region.

* Substitutions:  Please notify us at least two (2) days in advance if you would like to substitute attendees.  Full information about alternate attendees will be required.

Financial Statements and Reporting for Non-profits

This workshop will support your non-profit to understand the roles and responsibilities of staff and the board of directors when it comes to financial reporting and to understand basic concepts and terminology around financial statements.

Strategic Planning 101

This interactive workshop will describe the importance of planning, share best practices in agenda setting, session flow, and getting to desired outcomes to ensure your plan doesn't sit on a shelf, collecting dust.
