Category

Mould-making magic! Learn to form a one-part mould for reproduction. Students will take an existing small sculpture and complete a mould capable of reproduction in various materials. Moulds are used in many ways, such as for soap, chocolate or candle making, sculptural plaster, concrete or resin casting, and are the first step in investment casting for metals. This exciting opportunity is open to all skill levels, focusing on mould-making basics and inviting curiosity about more complex endeavours. Students will take home a completed mould - no previous experience is required.
