Instructor, Applied Environmental Science and Planning Technology; Recreation, Fish and Wildlife

"It is not hard to be inspired to learn about the natural environment in a place like the Kootenays: the more you learn, the greater your motivation to know more!" —Doris Hausleitner, Wildlife instructor

I currently teach first-year Fish and Wildlife, and Techniques in Wildlife Management for the Recreation Fish and Wildlife Program. I also teach the restoration field school for Applied Environmental Science and Planning Technology.

I am owner/operator of a consulting company, Seepanee Ecological Consulting, which has specialized in research on rare and endangered wildlife species in British Columbia for the past 17 years.
