Using professional camera and sound equipment, work with an experienced cinematographer, editor and self-made entrepreneur to develop multiple portfolio works over two weeks. LEVEL UP provides an opportunity to script and create your short piece while exploring multiple genres through lighting, sound and cinematic techniques as you work with various production teams. Plant the seeds for some critical components of the industry with opportunities to engage with media artists and local businesses. You will get a taste of what it is like to work for a client and enjoy the opportunity to network with a panel of successful Selkirk Alumni working in the film industry. A showcase of work will be screened in a final presentation for invited friends and family at the end of the two-week program. LEVEL UP and build the skills to STAND OUT.
