Treat yourself to a specialty coffee and a baked goodie on most Tuesday mornings at the Smooth Moves Café at the Trail Campus, run by students in the Steps to Opportunities, Academics and Readiness (SOAR) Program!
Students make the offerings fresh on site, and the café offers an opportunity for them to hone employment and customer service skills.

The café is open from 10–11 am in the second-floor kitchen of the Trail Campus. Items vary by week and all sales are cash only.
Nurturing Independence
The SOAR Program has diverse educational offerings to meet the learning needs of adult students. The program provides hands-on experiential education designed to prepare students for a success in a variety of workplace, volunteer and community settings.
The SOAR Program is offered in Nelson, Trail, Castlegar and Grand Forks.
