Originally from North Vancouver, BC, Sally Cunningham completed her BA in English Literature at Bishop’s University in the Eastern Townships of Québec. While there, she was a part of the Bishop’s Online Learning and Technology Consultants (OLTC) program—which trains students in instructional design, high-impact practices, LMS, Microsoft Teams and more—as well as offered support to faculty during the initial transition to online learning in 2020. In 2021, she became a program design fellow for the OLTC program, helping to pivot the program from a pandemic response to a long-term, sustainable instructor support for online and hybrid learning.

Sally then completed an MA in English with a creative thesis at the Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador in 2023 in St. John’s. You can find her short stories, poems and creative non-fiction in Riddle Fence, Accenti magazine, The Mitre and other literary magazines. Sally is also a member of the Poverty Cove Playwrights Unit and is currently undergoing edits for the fantasy novel manuscript that served as her MA thesis.
