Pegah Pourkarimi works with employers and organizations to develop practical, customized training solutions that strengthen teams and support workforce development. She brings a diverse background in business development, organizational leadership, entrepreneurship and community engagement across the public, non-profit and private sectors. Prior to joining Selkirk College, she held non-profit leadership roles and co-founded and scaled businesses in Canada and Australia.
Pegah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from the University of British Columbia and has professional training in project management, business development, leadership and fundraising.
Outside of work, Pegah enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, whether mountain biking, snowboarding or working in the garden. She believes that connection, collaboration and lifelong learning are the foundation of strong, resilient organizations and communities.
