Join us on a beautiful late-summer afternoon to pick apples and pears in the historic Doukhobor orchards surrounding the Mir Centre for Peace and reflect on the land and its history!
By picking the fruit and tending the orchards, we reduce bear attractants on campus, uphold the legacy of the heritage orchards and support food security in our communities.
Bring a bag or box to bring fruit home with you! Optional: bring your own ladder and reach aides.
