Cost, Funding and Registration

  • Application Fee: $200 +GST
  • Tuition Subsidies: The tuition for this program is funded by Upskill Canada. A subsidy to cover the $200 application fee may also be available for learners who meet eligibility requirements. Please fill out the application form to see if you qualify.
  • Program Dates: Online sessions available now, in-Person sessions in January 2026 will be held in Fruitvale, BC
  • Format: Blended delivery - self-paced, online learning plus hands-on greenhouse experience.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Minimum Grade 10 education
  • At least three (3) years of work or volunteer experience
  • Physically able to stand for at least three (3) hours and lift up to 15 kg
  • Interest in plant propagation, care, and learning basic business skills for greenhouse operations
  • Proficient in English
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
