Healthy Feet Series: Assessing Your Own Footwear And Balance

In this Foot Health Series course, the facilitator is a retired foot care nurse and educator and will focus on preventative care involving 'hands-on' practical exercises that were discussed in previous Foot Health courses, in particular: assessing your own footwear & assessing your own balance and mobility. NOTE: Participants will be asked to volunteer their own feet for the hands-on exercises and work in small groups. Those who do not wish to volunteer their feet can still actively participate in the exercises.

This course is part of a 'Healthy Feet Series' that will be running over the next few semesters. The series is designed to promote foot health for seniors, people with diabetes, and common foot conditions, and is facilitated by healthcare professionals who share their unique perspectives on 'Healthy Feet' as it relates to their specialties. The individual courses can be taken in any order.
