Angel Desjarlais serves as IT projects & solutions coordinator in IT Services at Selkirk College, where she bridges the gap between technology and people through effective project coordination and business analysis. In this role, she collaborates with stakeholders across the college to gather requirements, document processes and ensure successful delivery of technology solutions that support the institution's strategic initiatives.
Originally from Victoria, Angel brings a diverse professional background that blends business analysis, functional analysis, web and document design and user experience. She spent 15 years working with credit unions as an analyst and designer, specializing in operational and compliance content including online manuals, forms and contracts.
Angel and her husband moved to Kaslo from Vancouver in December 2017, trading big city life for village peace and quiet in the beautiful Kootenays. When not coordinating projects or gathering requirements, Angel can usually be found exploring the woods with her dog or pursuing various sewing, beadwork and photography projects.
