Designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to correctly identify when it is necessary to administer supplemental oxygen. Participants will learn how to properly and safely handle and assemble the equipment and how to correctly deliver supplemental oxygen through the appropriate delivery device.
Manuals are not included in the tuition fee- students should bring their manuals from previous B:S/Oxygen courses, or may purchase "Canadian Red Cross Basic Life Support Field Guide" separately.
Completion requirements: 100% attendance successful demonstration of skills 75% on closed book written exam
Certification is valid for 3 years.
