Ben is a graduate of the Selkirk College Nursing Program (2012).
Upon graduation Ben was offered a permanent position on Unit 57 (Hematology/Oncology and Blood and Marrow Transplant) at the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary. Ben spent his early career in this unique but demanding clinical area in various roles: charge nurse, nurse clinician, and clinical nurse educator/quality management coordinator.
Ben relocated back to the area with his family in 2020 to be closer to the activities and lifestyle that they prefer.
Ben has been a Nursing instructor at Selkirk College since 2020.
