She completed the Classroom and Community Support Worker Program at Selkirk College in 2009, leading to her time as an education assistant School District 8. This allowed her to meet a wide spectrum of students and families, working collaboratively to support student success in a school setting.
Lisa enjoys instructional design, curriculum development and supporting students to define and achieve their own successes. She feels privileged to have been part of the development and delivery of SPECTRUM Autism Resources & Training as well as participating currently in the development of SPECTRUM Dementia Companion. She joined the instructional staff in the Education Assistant & Community Support Worker Program in 2016 and is pleased to be a current part of the program that she graduated from.
