Tara was raised on Vancouver Island and started her journey in the health care field back in 2010 when she attended Selkirk College and completed the Health Care Assistant Program. That same year she returned back to Vancouver Island to complete the Licensed Practical Nursing Program at Camosun College, graduating in 2011.
Tara has worked in a variety of settings such as Long Term Care, Acute Care and currently in Home Health where she is a Home Support Team Lead. Tara began her teaching experience with Selkirk College in 2019 and is honored to play an integral role in teaching the Health Care Assistant Program sharing knowledge and experiences.
In her spare time Tara enjoys spending time with her husband, three kids and dogs on their small acreage.
