Martin Stegman was born and raised in Nelson and completed his first year of post-secondary at Selkirk College in the Engineering Transfer Program. He subsequently worked in banking, technical support, editing and public administration while living in Vancouver and Victoria as well as overseas in England, Argentina and Turkey.
Stegman holds a BA in Psychology from UBC and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Victoria. After nearly 20 years away, he returned to the Kootenays in 2019 and supports students through his work in Financial Aid.
