Alison began her career with Selkirk College in 1991, working with adults upgrading their education in Nakusp and then Nelson, and now supports upgrading and SOAR (Steps to Opportunities, Academics & Readiness) programs in communities throughout the college region. Melissa Bleier joined Selkirk College in 2015 as an instructor in the Pharmacy Technician Program and worked as the program coordinator from 2019 to 2026. She moved to the role of chair for the School of Health and Human Services in August 2026.
