The college is seeking nominations for three Board of Governors Awards: Distinguished Alumnus/Alumna, Distinguished Educator and Honorary Diploma. These honours celebrate people whose achievements, service or teaching reflect the college’s values.

Who Is Eligible?
You can nominate graduates, retired educators and community members. Please note that current board members, employees, students or people with direct political/legal/budget authority over the college are not eligible.
How Do I Nominate Someone?
Complete a nomination form and email it to Catherine Harder by 4 pm on Thursday, February 12, 2026.

What Happens Next?
A selection committee recommends nominees to the Selkirk College Board of Governors on March 24, 2026. Award recipients will be invited to receive their award at Convocation on May 21, 2026, in Castlegar and will be featured on the Selkirk College website.
