Study casting with Tamara Morgan. After graduating from the Metal Working Program at Kootenay School of the Arts, her career focus is on blacksmithing, casting, sculpture, mixed media and leather.
Instructor Profile: Sophie Slater, Willow Weaving
Sophie Slater is a multidisciplinary textiles artist from the UK, specializing in sewing, weaving, natural dyeing and crochet. Sophie has been weaving with willow, using French basketry techniques to make baskets and backpacks.
