Amanda Ovington
Instructor, Practical Nursing Amanda moved to the Kootenays in 2002, with her husband and it has been "home" ever since. As an alumni of Selkirk College this is where her passion for gerontology began. Since graduating in 2011, Amanda has worked in several areas of the West Kootenays. Her experience includes working with seniors in complex care environments with a strong focus on palliative care
Rochelle Nyman
Instructor, Health Care Assistant and Practical Nursing Rochelle was born and raised right here in the Kootenays. She has also lived on the coast, up north and in Alberta. Rochelle started her health care journey as a Health Care Assistant when her children were young. She went on to complete my LPN in Calgary and then returned to the Kootenays to work in various settings within Interior Health
