This two-day course includes comprehensive first aid and CPR techniques for emergency response in the home or workplace. Practice a variety of topics from cardiovascular and breathing emergencies and prevention of disease transmission to more severe sudden medical injuries to the head and spine. Learn the use of an automated external defibrillator.
Note: SFA can be modified to meet the requirements of Red Cross Marine Basic First Aid with advance notice. If you require Marine Basic First Aid, please contact your local Community Education coordinator before registration.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Occupational First Aid, Red Cross, or equivalent certificates, which are due to expire between March 1, 2020, and June 30, 2020, will be granted an extension for 90 days beyond their original expiry date.
